Feel Good Salve

Feeling good shouldn’t have to cost an arm or a leg! DIY salves are an easy way to achieve a highly potent-need specific topical.  Spend a little time for a lot of benefit. Get or give a nice massage and relax with moisturized skin!

Yield: 3-4-ounce glass

Ingredients

2 ounces coconut oil

1 ounce jojoba oil

5 ounces safflower oil

1 ounce beeswax

Medicate It

Use a highly potent Cannaoil instead of coconut oil. Try some Maui Pineapple CBG Oil today!

Optional

To customize your salve, add 15-30 drops of any single or a combination of essential oils. Refer to the culinary herbs and terpenes page to get some ideas what to use.

How To

Using a double boiler, (Pyrex measuring cup and a shallow 1- or 2-quart pot) melt the beeswax over medium heat.

Add jojoba and safflower oil and mix with a silicone spatula.

Add coconut oil (add infused oil here if using) and mix well.

Remove from heat when melted completely and homogenous (if using, add 30 drops of essential oils here). Transfer to a glass jar, let cool and solidify at room temperature and store it in the fridge.

When cleaning, use paper towels to wipe out or off any salve from containers and utensils before cleaning with hot soapy water.
