The Quickie “Bake What Yo’ Mama Gave Ya Brownies”
Some moments in life call for only one serving to be prepared. Whether you are at home or away in a hotel room, you can enjoy a luxurious from-scratch treat. Mama’s principles also work well in this microwave brownie recipe. It possesses both a dense and fluffy chocolate texture. Gone are the days of the dry microwave brownie!
Yield: 1 cup of brownie
3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons of sugar
3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
3 tablespoons of butter or coconut oil
3 tablespoons whipped cream cheese
3 tablespoons of whole milk yogurt
½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 teaspoons of white chocolate chips
Pinch of salt
Add any other mix-ins you would like when you add the chocolate chips. If you’re a fan of nuts go ahead and sprinkle them all in! (Do not add any extra liquid. If you want some orange chocolate brownies use orange zest instead of the juice.)
Sub any portion of the butter/oil for cannabutter/oil to reach your desired potency. Use prepared/activated concentrates i.e., distillate to medicate your brownies.
Mix wet ingredients in a mug or in a bowl, then add dry ingredients and mix well. (If bowl was used transfer to a mug that has at least a 12 oz. capacity. The finished brownie will yield 8 oz.)
Place the mug in the microwave and heat for 75-90 seconds (This was done using a 1200W microwave oven).
Let cool down for 5 minutes. Add a scoop of your favorite ice cream and Enjoy!
*3 tablespoons = 9 teaspoons
*choose your cannabutter/oil for the potency that you need. If your cannbutter/oil is too potent to use large quantities sub regular butter for the portion that is left.
