Mic Drop French Toast
Like most couples Saucier Willy and I have an extremely competitive side. Trying to decide whose recipe would end up here was a task we were willing to take on. We go back and forth insulting each other’s French toast. “Remember the one time you made…SOGGY BREAD!” and so I seceded my fight and agreed he had the best French toast I had ever eaten. Breakfast Wars started when we began dating and continue. Soon we will get the kids to decide who reigns supreme.

Mic Drop French Toast
Yield: 6-8 servings
Ingredients
Challah Bread
2 eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Butter for cooking
Optional
Sub the Challah bread for brioche bread for a lighter French toast.
Make stuffed French toast!
Medicate It
Use a teaspoon or tablespoon of cannabutter atop your finished French toast to ensure proper dosing. However, you can cook the French toast in the cannabutter to medicate it.
How To
Slice 6-8 pieces of Challah bread. In a bowl, add 2 eggs, heavy cream, vanilla, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Use an Immersion blender or a whisk to blend together.
Use med/high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the pan and melt. Add French toast when the pan is hot and cook 3-4 minutes on each side. Add butter with every new batch added to the pan.
Serve warm. Top with powdered sugar and a drizzle of maple syrup.
