A delicately flavored whipped cream compliments so many dishes. I especially enjoy pairing them with shortbread cookies and French toast. There’s no shame in just grabbing a spoonful without any accompaniments.
Yield: 2 cups
2 tablespoons simple syrup (sweeten to your taste)
1 cup heavy whipping cream

If using infused cream, make sure the cream is cold before you begin. 4-8 grams of decarbed cannabis per 1 cup of cream is enough for most needs. Adjust the amount to your desired potency. Serve as is or use as a replacement for cream in any recipe. Add it to your coffee! A prepared cannabis concentrate, i.e., distillate, can be used to medicate this recipe instead of using an infused cream. Add it to the cream after you reduce to a simmer. Simmer until it is fully incorporated (use a whisk or other utensil to thoroughly mix). When combined, chill and continue with the recipe.
Infused Cream (Crockpot):
Add ground decarboxylated cannabis to crockpot.
Add cream to a saucepan on medium heat and bring to a light boil. Remove from stove and transfer to crockpot.
Stir, then cook on low for 2 hours. Strain the infused cream through a cheesecloth, coffee filter or strainer. Chill.
Infused Cream (Stovetop):
Add cream to a saucepan on medium heat and bring to a light boil.
Add ground decarboxylated cannabis and reduce heat. Simmer for 2 hours, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat. Strain the infused cream through a cheesecloth, coffee filter or strainer. Chill.
Infused Cream (Magic Butter):
“Place all the ingredients into your Magical Butter machine, and secure the head.
Press the Temperature button, and select 160ºF/71°C; then press the 4 Hours/Tincture button.
Once the cycle is finished, let the machine sit for 10-15 minutes. This will let everything separate, making your straining process easier.
Put on your Love Glove, and strain your cream through your Purify Filter. Squeeze the bottom of the filter with your Love Glove until as much of the oil is out of the botanicals as possible.”
Place a metal mixing bowl and metal whisk into the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes.
Place the simple syrup into the mixing bowl and add the whipping cream. Whisk just until the cream reaches stiff peaks. Store any unused portion in an airtight container for up to 10 hours. When ready to use, re-whisk for 10 to 15 seconds.
