Yield: 400ml

Ingredients

100ml witch hazel

200ml fractionated aloe vera

100ml fractionated coconut oil/MCT

¼ teaspoon liquid sunflower lecithin

1 dropperful Schisandra Berry glycerite

A pinch of each herb:

Calendula

Mint

Lavender

Nettle

Rose

Hops

Mullein flowers

Are there are herbs that work for you that are not listed…use whatever you like. Everyone’s body is different.

Look for witch hazel already infused with herbs to skip that step in the recipe

Sub the fractionated aloe vera with a 99% aloe vera gel

Medicate It

Sub the non-infused MCT oil for your own infused MCT oil (add it when the coconut oil is added in the recipe)

A tincture can also be used to infuse this recipe

Equipment

2 glass measuring cups or beakers

Immersion blender

Spice grinder

Large pot

2-4 small cloths (baby washcloths are perfect) or paper towels

Stainless steel spray bottle (fine or medium mist nozzle)

How To

Grind equal parts of calendula, mint, lavender, nettle, rose, hops, mullein flowers

Add 1 teaspoon of the herb blend to 100ml of witch hazel

When the color leeches, strain and add Schisandra berry glycerite (if using, add tincture here)

Pour into aloe, mix well and set aside

Warm coconut oil in a water bath, remove, add lecithin (if using, add cannabis concentrates here) and stir while they coalesce

Oil/water bath (sand could also be used with the right equipment):

In a large pot, place cloths or paper towels on the bottom to prevent the glass from breaking

Place each glass container/beaker in the oil/water and place another cloth or a few paper towels folded and put them between to prevent breaking while heating

Bring the temperature to about 212°F (both mixtures should be at the same temperature)

Slowly pour the aloe/witch hazel mixture into the coconut oil/cannabis mixture while blending with an immersion blender until homogenous

Bottle, store in the refrigerator and shake before use.
