Sometimes simple is all you need. No bells and whistles just effortless flavor. Take a break from the convenience food and give yourself the option of a quick healthy snack!
Yield: 1 serving
Dressing: 1 serving
1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon Saucier Willy’s Cranberry Zinger Simple Syrup
¼ teaspoon lime juice
1/8 teaspoon fresh chopped shallot
Saucier Willy’s Lemon Pepper Seasoning to taste
1/8 teaspoon fresh thyme
1/16 teaspoon liquid sunflower lecithin
Salad: 1 serving
1 cup Spring salad mix
3 slices of fresh bosc pears
2 teaspoons goat cheese
1 tablespoon golden raisins
Sub any vinegar for the balsamic vinegar, any Saucier Willy simple Syrup for the Cranberry Zinger simple syrup, any citrus juice for the lime juice, any cheese for the goat cheese, any Saucier Willy seasoning for the Lemon Pepper Seasoning, and any fruit and salad mix to replace the bosc pears and spring salad mix.
Use Cannaoil instead of extra virgin olive oil in the salad dressing.
For the Salad: Put 1 cup salad mix on a plate. Slice the pears. Halve 3 slices. Add the pears, cheese and raisins to the salad mix.
For the Dressing: Combine oil, vinegar, thyme, Saucier Willy’s Cranberry Zinger Simple Syrup and Lemon Pepper Seasoning, shallot, liquid sunflower lecithin and lime juice in a bowl. Use a whisk or an immersion blender to make the mixture homogenous. Pour over salad and enjoy.
